I used my iceaxe to cut branches from the coniferous shrubs. I lined the bottom of my grave with the shrubs and this kept me a little further from the snow. mattlucas 0 Posted May 31, 2006 Share Posted May 31, 2006 My bivi sack For winter/fall and early spring I use an old -12 down bag. It's about 10 years old so isn't -12 anymore. Maybe -5. Late Spring/Summer and early fall I use an overbag. Rated for tropical weather. I sleep very warm. Link to post Share on other sites
