BillTheBinMan 0
I'm always amazed at my folks. They're in their early 70's and they have the heating really down, I'm almost always feeling cold when I'm there and putting on extra layers. Put a bit of heating on and they're going on about it being hot. Good thing I suppose better than them being frail and cold. I prefer being warm to cold though.
big-will 7
My folks are the same. As you say, not a bad thing.
Davo 1
Reading this about your olds brings to mind the classic statement mine always come up with: "Put some more clothes on if you're cold!"
gamera 0
Thanks all. I think I just need to know the proper temperture for public space. People from cold place like Canada, Scandinavia say it's too warm, while people from warm place like India say it's cold.
r45 4
Somewhere comfortable in the middle and you'll surely be all right.
Ocean11 0
gamera, surely a small "Sorry, Japanese only" sign on your door would solve most of your problems?

amandanism 0
the heating in our place in toronto is terrible. the setting its on now makes the entire apartment hot and sticky but if we put it down one setting on the thermostat the place is really cold. there is no happy medium. i actually prefer to be cold than hot. i hate waking up hot and then having to go outside to the below zero temps.
