SnowJapan Admin SnowJapan#Andrew 6 Posted January 14, 2005 SnowJapan Admin Share Posted January 14, 2005 Pine Ridge Resorts. You might not have heard of the name before, but we think you might be hearing much more in the near future. Pine Ridge Resorts have recently acquired two ski resorts in Japan - Kandatsu in Yuzawa Town, Niigata Prefecture and Geihoku in Hiroshima. They're going about implementing big changes to each of the resorts and have big plans in an effort to make them more exciting places to visit. After spending a day at Kandatsu (or “Pine Ridge Resorts Kandatsu” to give it the new full name), we're really encouraged by the changes we've seen and the enthusiasm with which they are going about making the changes. There's a lot going on....quality cuisine, new spa/thai baths, Snowstyle Park, MTV tie-ups (“Winter Style in Kandatsu”), other live events planned and more. The Resort is inviting two couples to visit and experience all of the changes first-hand. For more details, check the link below: http://www.snowjapan.com/e/spotlight/pine-ridge-invitation.html Some details of the two resorts can be found here (with more info coming soon): http://www.snowjapan.com/e/spotlight/pineridge.html
sunrise 0
Sounds interesting. A shame I can't get away this month. Fats, if your wife is still able to ski this season this could be a good chance for you and her.
excuse me 0
Interesting I heard that things had changed up there from a friend last week.
rach 1
I've never really considered taking the trip west to Hiroshima. And Yuzawa is a bit far for me, though I wouldn't mind taking a peek.
flipside 0
Sounds good, but can you get tickets for Hiroshima, Geihoku? Or is it only Niigata?
