tsondaboy 0
Wishful thinking. It highly depends on the weather Montoya, as you can also guess.
big-will 7
Doesn't Naeba's opening usually consist of a really crappy 400 meter long and 10 meter wide run of man-made snow. The real snow arrives around mid-December if I remember correctly.
mattlucas 0
The hills out my way in the Takasu area should be opening in early-mid November They have pretty advanced snow making so they can make snow at temperatures above zero. Just a strip of snow though. But skiing is skiing.
Yuki's Passion 1
While its fun just to get out on the hills, skiing through 1000 people on a 600 meter course and 100 meteres wide just isnt my idea of fun.
mattlucas 0
It is kind of fun But I wouldn't drive very far to do it It's only an hour each way And what else am I going to do?

Yuki's Passion 1
does season really matter FF? yup, love swimming, rollerblading, running, playing ultimate frisbee, drinking beer...
Fattwins 0
as for openings I just cant be bothered paying for a ticket for one run anymore. if I can hike then thats fine though.
mattlucas 0
I don't mind paying What really annoys me is that the Takasu areas still make you pay for parking as well So you're looking at like 4500 for 1 run
Fattwins 0
toque I know you why dont you park at the bottom and walk up to the parking area?
cayote 0
Having enough different outdoor OBSESSIONS to do any season keeps me happy - I get a hard on when I get to ride on snow, not months before I get a chance to stisfy my lust. Summer rocked!!! And, there is plenty!!! to do living in Hayama on the Miura Hanto. Come October, I'll be hiking the high country; come December, I'll be snowcamping and boarding. No white knuckles and shaking here.
