Guest
Howdy to y'all like-minded snowfreaks! Was just wondering that in your (vast) experience and opinion, what would be a good place to stay over the New Year? 3, maybe 4 days and preferably in Niigata/Nagano/within a shink-distance (ie. not Hokkaido this time). BigSausage 0
Good place at New Year? ....at home. Go after New Year when the crowds have gone.
brit-gob 9
Second that. Get drunk over New Year and have a lazy time, then get out when everyone else is getting back to work. If you are able do that (because of work, etc)
rajeem 0
I tried to book somewhere last new year and had big problems. First off, places put their rates up for the NY holiday (sometimes by quite a lot). So you pay more to go on more crowded hills. I also left it too late to try and book. It seems New year gets fully booked up at lots of places really early. Just what I experienced.
