blinkin'ek 0
Check out the new feature they put online today about Niseko. Interesting to see the snow fall stats for the last 5 years or so. http://www.skijapanguide.com/2002/features/powder-13.html and http://www.skijapanguide.com/2002/features/powder-13-snowdepths.html '99 was a wicked year for the snow... More of the same for other areas, SJG?
grungy-gonads 54
Hmm, interesting. 1999 was good - pity I didn't make it up there. So maybe next year will be a bumper

Guest
I just got back from Niseko today. Over the couse of just a few days, I've had strong winds and no winds, cloudy and sunny, perfectly clear and only 10 ft visibility at the top, and slushy-mucky snow and hard ice. Nevertheless, it was great fun, especially on Sunday, March 31...the weather was great... bright sun and good soft but not slushy snow. I remember sitting on the one-seater going to the top when the wind was high and visibility was low....just like floating in the clouds....it was like a movie scene were someone had just died and was going to heaven! Cool!
