Ocean11 0
Murasaki in Matsumoto's not bad (if you're not a very big person). There's an Alpen in Matsumoto too. Climb One in Suwa has some very highly priced stuff, but the people in the shop are very knowledgable (they have a nice golden retriever too).
NoFakie 45
If its Matsumoto then I'd check out The Blue Line. Small but loads of good gear in there and the staff seem pretty knowledgeable. Cheap English magazines too. It's on the road that leads out of the station with the club Zeku on it. Maybe 300m from the station on a corner. If going by car, note that the corner it's on is a no-left turn, even though you've got to turn left if coming from the station to get into the little carpark they've got. It's an easy mistake to make. Nagano has Himalaya and Xebio next to one another to the south of Nagano City.
Dokumanju 0
Check out Bronx next time ya in Nagano city - the dude there is super nice and the prices on last years gear is usually reasonable.
