danz 0
planning on driving more to the mtn. this season...thought I should get some snow tires for my vehichle... do you know how I can find a pair of used tires that are still road/snow worthy?? I've tried asking at some gas stations, and they all give the X "tyotto dame" with the tilted head and sigh... back home I could save big by getting a used pair...and they worked fine... thanks danz

danz 0
let me see if I can decipher your reply: "what vehicle have you got. Tyres are no happy hour" indeed... I drive a toyota corolla danz
miteyak 0
nearly got it, but I said that tyres are rather cheap here. I got a set of Yokohama geolanders for 40,000 for a delica space gear. Them's big tyres!
oo 1
That sounds relatively cheap, where did you get them?
miteyak 0
From me mitsubishi dealer, actually, (yes, the same dealers who charge 30,000 yen for a genuine parts nut and bolt set). Often, as winter draws near, one or two of the main manufacturers will have great snow tyre deals. Worth shopping around. (We're talking multiple man savings here, worth a saturday avo.)
