sk8er 0
When is the peak of the season, usually, for conditions? Late Jan / early Feb? cool site.
Ocean11 0
It depends what you mean by the peak of the season. If there's plenty of snow and you go at the beginning of the season before all the lifts are open, that's the peak: untrammeled snow, solitude, and the first time out high. There are no courses as such, as the groomer hasn't been got out yet... But for a nicely squashed base, well yeah, Jan, Feb.
scouser 4
I think in general terms that would be early Feb right?
frannyo 2
I would usually say the middle of Jan was the best, but last year that period sucked - it was like spring.
miteyak 0
Recently it's been all over the place. The last few years late december/early january has seen some of the best snow, but prior to that feb. had some of the best snow/most consistently good conditions.
