It's made up of three resorts. The southern most, Kashimari, has good nightas, some fun steep runs and often good powder as it's semi-roped off at crucial times.

Next, Aoki lake resort. Fantastic scenery, good snow, easier runs toward the base, harder as you get higher. On great steep run, but kinda short. A mellow place with a great Italian resty at the bottom.

Sunalpina, not so much terrain, but few people so snow stays good, great place to learn (back side has a long easy wide intermediate slope).

The three share a common lift ticket, individually they have there merits, together they make up a large, interesting area with great atmosphere. On a busy weekend, I rate these resorts above the 'biggies' further up the valley.

PS-most of each resort cant be seen from the road.
