Big Al 16
Anyone flown on Jetstar's (or anyone else's) new Boeing 787 yet?
Tubby Beaver 209
No but if its anything like the other jetstar planes, it'll hold a million souls crushed tighter together than the Nazi express to Auschwitz
yoroshiku onegai shimasu 2
Are they supposed to be great or something?
Tubby Beaver 209
It was Boeing's answer to the Airbus super jumbo…….smaller but they said that was better….who knows why!!
yoroshiku onegai shimasu 2
I'm not a plane-spotter. They're all just necessary evils to me.

Big Al 16
Are they supposed to be great or something? I've read that they are pressurised to a lower altitude (2000m) (1800m) than most other jet airliners and the cabin air has higher humidity than the norm which is supposed to dispense with that dry air feeling. However, several user reviews claim this translates to a "hot and stuffy" flight! They do appear to be considerably quieter than most other large airliners though. We're on the Jetstar 787 from Cairns to Narita in January.

Slippery Jim 65
Flew SEA-HND a while back on ANA. It was probably the most comfortable flight I've ever taken (well, we were in business class ). I do think the extra pressure/humidity make a difference, just nowhere nearly as much as where you're sitting. fixed typo, now HND Edited October 8, 2014 by DiGriz
North Shore 0
Meh...plastic aeroplanes... Still, from an airline point of view: lighter, newer, more fuel efficient, probably quieter both inside and out...
