Go Native 70
Just got one these today. A Kubota L4600 4wd tractor. Got it with the front end loader, pallet tines for the rear, a grader blade and a grass slasher. Couple of weeks before it's delivered and looking forward to playing with it. Thundercat 60
Does it come with a straw hat and a long piece of straw to hold in your teeth? I had one like that when I was a kid... it was a toy of course!
Go Native 70
I'll see if they can throw in a straw hat. Pieces of straw can be found around the property.
Thundercat 60
I think you'll also need a pair of dirty overalls and a dew rag to stuff into your front pocket! Do they only come in red, or is that a company colour?
Go Native 70
Think I'll get myself a banjo as well to wile away the hours in the evening on the porch after a hard day in the fields
Metabo Oyaji 71
My mother's got one similar, but without the front-end loader attachment. Kid enjoys taking it out for a spin when visiting Grandma. (Actually, I do too.)
snowdude 44
Looks good, I need to upgrade my old tractor at some stage too. Just has a rotary on it, one with a front bucket for moving snow in winter would be very handy and a weed cutter for the fields. Maybe later this year if not next year. Go Native 70
The reason we went that one is because we need to be able to lift bags that weigh up to a tonne on the pallet tines and it was the minimum size that could lift that sort of weight. The decent size bucket on the front end will be handy moving potting mix at the nursery as well.

seemore 66
Looks good GN what does something like that cost?
snowdude 44
Here that tractor that GN has bought with all the bits on anything from 1.5 to 3million yen for that size tractor depending on engine size. Being Kubota which is Japanese it is maybe cheaper here than to buy it in Aus, but just a guess of course.
