Plucky 0 Posted December 26, 2002 Share Posted December 26, 2002 I've been to (Cr)Appi, Hakkoda (spelled wrong on this site) and Hachimantai Forest in the last two days. Frankly, the snow blows goats. I hope it is better down south. I was supposed to go ski today, but surfed the 3 foot crappy beach break instead. It was better than the stuff in the mts. We got a huge dump up here in the north last night - 5cm! Sorry to be so negative - I just want some real POW! Merry Christmas! Link to post Share on other sites

napalibum 0 Posted December 26, 2002 Share Posted December 26, 2002 Yeah Plucky, this is only my second year here at Misawa, but I thought we get better snow than this. What days did you go? I talked to some who say the snow has been great at Appi and that the powder was sweet at Hakkoda (SJ's spelling bugs me too). Then I hear from others the conditions were terrible.
