7-11 2
I missed out on the amazing weather yesterday and today has been much cloudier and grey. The forecast rain held off though maybe for not longer. So spent the day until 2pm at Maiko. I like the place, though more snow is needed as has been said elsewhere. I remember seeing muika's photos, perhaps he will be able to confirm, but in lots of places there's stuff sticking up from the snow and even bits of ground showing. Snow is forecast tonight/tomorrow, lets hope it delivers. Very grey and rubbish phone photos but here they are anyway
muikabochi 208
Hi 7-11. Yes there's tons of shrubs showing through still, isn't there. On the last 3 photos it's really clear - that lot should be completely covered and lovely smooth snowy contours going on. I'm pretty sure it was by the end of December last season. http://www.snowjapanforums.com/index.php/topic/22384-maiko-snow-resort-minamiouonuma-niigata-27th-december-2012 Hoping this due snowfall doesn't disappoint!
