muikabochi 208
I have a few to post, but here's one to start.... The English is clear enough to lorry drivers - but the Welsh reads "I am not in the office at the moment. Send any work to be translated." --- When officials asked for the Welsh translation of a road sign, they thought the reply was what they needed. Unfortunately, the e-mail response to Swansea council said in Welsh: "I am not in the office at the moment. Send any work to be translated". So that was what went up under the English version which barred lorries from a road near a supermarket. "When they're proofing signs, they should really use someone who speaks Welsh," said journalist Dylan Iorwerth.

tokabochi 9
A hotbed of international crime, is Yuzawa.
pie-eater 207
Well, international terrorists will certainly be put off attaching the phone box I reckon. This sign clearly tells them that Yuzawa aren't going to be faffing about in the face of terrorism. And rightly so!
DumbStick 13
What exactly is the point of that sign?
Metabo Oyaji 71
Can't read the fine print, but it may be a exhortation to report any suspicious objects. Something like this one?
Tubby Beaver 209
at that phone box a driver trying to use the phone would be suspicious!!
Alexander L 80
A gaijin, stopping, taking photos of the phonebox, then putting stickers on it and then photo-ing it some more and then driving off at normal speed would be a little bit more suspicious.
