pie-eater 207 Posted January 15, 2014 Author Share Posted January 15, 2014 Just a bit of monkey news to add to this: Monkeys at a zoo have been barred from eating bananas because they are too unhealthy. Nutritionists have likened feeding them on a diet of bananas to humans eating too much cake and chocolate.They believe the primates at Paignton Zoo in Devon have had too much of a good thing and are stopping them from eating sweet foods, which includes bananas. I feel sorry for those monkeys, because everyone knows they love bananas and eat them all the time in nature. Perhaps they will rebel, and a monkey called Caeser will become their leader and events will gather pace and we will end up with a 'Planet of the Apes' scenario.
