snowdude 44
Worth taking a look at the blog below, which covers reports on real weather events as they happen by real people living in the real world. Wonder why all the warmists trolls aren't reporting any of the events below????? Must be all this global warming causing everywhere to be much colder than it should be! LOL LOL LOL LOL Go to iceagenow.info, scroll down and check out the various weather events, makes for interesting reading and NOT a warmist troll in site!!!!

pie-eater 207
Perhaps next time if you could elaborate a little more in the thread subject, snowdude. Other than that....
surfarthur 22
You still seem to be confusing weather with climate, Snowdude.
snowdude 44
You still seem to be confusing weather with climate, Snowdude. No confusion at all!!!!! The weather is the result of the climate!!!!! The warmists are telling us that the climate is warming causing warmer weather!!!!!! Reality the climate is cooling causing cooler weather!!!! No confusion at all!!!!!!
surfarthur 22
A few events of cold weather does not equal a cooling climate, just as a few events of hot weather does not equal a warming climate. It is the long term trend that is important, which the above mentioned site does not seem too interested in. From the Christian Science monitor, which is hardly a "warmist" publication, in July this year: More than 40,000 daily heat records have been broken around the country so far this year, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, compared with last year's 25,000 daily records set by this date. Over the past few years, daily record high temperatures have been outpacing daily record lows by 2-to-1 on average, according to the website Climate Central. A 2009 study found that if the climate were not warming, that ratio would be expected to be even. So far this year, there have been 40,113 high temperature records set or tied, compared with just 5,835 cold records, a ratio of about 7-to-1. This on its own does not mean that the climate is warming, just as the list of record cold weather events on the site that you linked to does not mean that the climate is cooling. snowdude 44
Indeed, but somehow I doubt these cold events will be a one off. Isnt it funny how if we get just one warm event the warmists scream global warming but get any cold events like the numerous amount currently happening and they are dead silent!!!!!! surfarthur 22
Care to explain the 7 to 1 ratio of hot weather records vs cold weather records?
Go Native 70
There's no point surfarthur. LIke religious zealots snowdudes beliefs are not based on rational, logical or evidence based thinking. Certainly not based on science. There's no point then in trying to argue with him with anything that is rational, logical or evidence based. So far this year, there have been 40,113 high temperature records set or tied, compared with just 5,835 cold records, a ratio of about 7-to-1 What's amazing about this figure is that we haven't even really moved into the El Nino phase of the ENSO oscillation as yet. We've just moved out of a La Nina phase (a cool phase globally) to a neutral phase. As it moves to more strongly El Nino we could expect things to really start to warm up again around the globe. Even after two back to back very deep La Nina phases temperatures haven't even dropped back to anywhere near the average of last century, they didn't really drop at all. They've remained very high and the first decade of this century was the warmest we have ever recorded. As we're moving back into El Nino I expect this decade will set an even higher benchmark. For a good look at what's been happening on a monthly and annual basis globally I'd suggest this link on the NOAA site http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/sotc/global/2012/

Go Native 70
Gee you're funny, which is appropriate I guess for the forum fcuckwit!
Mantas 3
Cant see what the big deal is with this. All the literiture Ive read includes 'cold events' as part of their climate change predictions. In fact some scientists have predicted than Europe could enter another ice age if any more fresh water enters the atlantic and stops the gulf steam. BTW Why has has all the ice gone if we are entering a warming phase?
