joshnii 2
I just saw that Kagura has been closed today due to strong winds. Knowing how busy it gets at this time of year, and hearing that the last few weekends the car park has been 'full' -- wondering just how much this means to the resort in terms of business lost. Must be a fair big wad of cash. Playing with nature for your business must be a stressful business at times.
tokabochi 9
Think of how much Gala must have hurt those few years after that incident and before they had the downhill course. I remember a few seasons there they had to close a lot of days because of the wind.
muikabochi 208
Probably lucky they had JR behind them.
SKI 15
A few seasons back, Gala almost seemed scared to open when there was even a slight wind. Must have been closed a fair number of days in the season, no doubt if I took the time and looked at the now report for yuzawa I'd be able to count them up. But as above, they luckily have JR behind them and so could take a hit.
