Fred Looney 0
I will be in Tokyo for 2 nights next years and would like to get some information. The dates are the 24th and 25th of Feb. I would like to see a sumo match but have been told that the grand tour is not in Tokyo at that time. Are there smaller events on that I could go to. Also would like a eat at a good Teppanyaki restaurant. We are staying at the Sheraton Miyako, what is the best way to get to and From the Airport (Narita). Thanks for any help you can give
RobBright 35
Have you looked at the website for the hotel? Usually the Sheraton has lots of information on their sites.
NoFakie 45
Is the western idea of teppanyaki (i.e., steak and Cocktail the movie style juggling of sauce bottles) such a big deal in Japan itself? I've had it, but it seems like a much bigger thing overseas. I think most Japanese people would rather have yakiniku.
muikabochi 208
Yes make sure you try yakiniku!

I definitely think its more popular in western countries than it is here
