deanrobi 2 Posted March 8, 2011 Share Posted March 8, 2011 You can get a bus for 1300y each way from either the Welcome centre or Niseko Village. It takes the long way via Kutchan and around the base of Mt Yoti and takes around 80mins. If you can get someone to drive you then it takes about 30 -40mins. we usally ask the lodge staff if one of them would be willing to take us and in return we normally purchase a lift ticket and lunch for them, split between three or so its not bad. IIRC SKIJAPAN run a bus on a thurs day I think, costs were around the 8,000 mark for both bus and lift ticket Link to post Share on other sites

skiwi 0 Posted March 8, 2011 Share Posted March 8, 2011 Hi You can call the welcome centre and book return bus tickets to Rusutsu. Costs 1000 yen each way. Bus leaves in morning at about 8.30ish and leaves Rusutsu at 4.28pm.Cheers Link to post Share on other sites

As it's mid-March the direct service wasn't running so I had to take 7.45 local bus (the dark green-coloured Donan bus) from Hirafu to Kutchan station (380Yen), then the 8.15 bus (another Donan) from Kutchan station to Rusutsu resort (980yen). Arrived at 9.09 so door-to-door it took about 85 minutes at a total cost of 1,360yen, which wasn't too bad. Link to post Share on other sites
