sanjo 2
Anyone here been on a weekend of late to Tenjindaira in Gunma? Or previous seasons for that matter? Keen to know whether it is mad busy. Or not. Thanks
Tubby Beaver 209
I've went up last year on a Sunday, it wasn't that busy. That said the snow condition wasn't so good so maybe people decided to give it a miss. The fact that most people go here for the vast BC probably means that loads can be heading up but it still seems like you're on your own
muikabochi 208
Good point that. Or perhaps they just stuck on the never-ending Gondola
Tubby Beaver 209
haha, yeah that takes up half your day and you only see another 6 people (cos they are stuck in your cab)
muikabochi 208
I was all on my own when I went up. I got lonely! Remember also, only opens at like 9:30am on weekdays http://www.snowjapanforums.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/401285/Japanese_ski_resorts_that_don_.html I'll shut up now! mina2 6
I would say Saturday is usually busiest. Sunday especially in the afternoon getting quieter, like most places I suppose. Nothing crazy though of course weekdays the quietest so if you can get on a weekday best to.
