marjude 0
I am new to this forum and for that matter, relatively new to skiing (and loving it). I will be traveling to Niseko from Australia in late February for two weeks and intend to take my own skis. My first question is. Are my Rossignol Bandits 80 (SC80, S80) suitable for Niseko? Secondly, Qantas allows prepurchase of an additional baggage allowance on the internet at a discount pricebut but appears to exclude travel to japan. Why? Is anyone aware of other provisions for skis or how Qantas treats customers with skis? Marjude
Slippery Jim 65
At 80mm underfoot, the Bandit should work well at Niseko. If there's a huge dump of snow, you can always rent a demo pair of wider skis. Sorry, don't know anything about Qantas baggage allowance. Someone here will no doubt be able to help. Welcome to SnowJapan, don't let the arguments & name-calling turn you off, we're like a big dysfunctional family but at the end of the day we all love each other. (well, not hardly but we fake it)
r45 4
Should be fine. Just be stoked looking forward to it.
r45 4
There's not that much name calling and arguments on here - very few in fact I think. Just the occasional flare-ups.
