pie-eater 207
I just saw on the news about them invading Aussie. Anyone on here near there? Scary stuff, check out the photo below! Quote: Locals in the Riverland say they are seeing the worst locust plague in about five years. Big numbers have also been reported in other areas including the Flinders Ranges. A grower at Cooltong near Renmark, Roly Telfer, says the locusts are not posing too much of a threat yet. "Not at this stage of the year, I think most people have permanent plantings and I can't see that they would do a lot of damage although it could be affecting the winter vegetable crops if they're in at the moment at an early stage - just coming up - they could be damaged," he said. ausi ski bum 1
Looks like the front of my car, I live in the Riverina region of NSw and the Locusts are back in the day and swarms of huge moths at night, I am having to high pressure wash the front of my car every two or three days and the windscreen daily. I get a new car next week, it will be trashed on the 100 km trip home from the car yard.
