tripler 0
Anyone seen a website of Japanese ski vocabulary? I already know: snow = 雪, ゆã, yuki ice = æ°·, ã“ãŠã‚Š, corrie [as in Coronation Street] avalanche = 雪崩, ãªã ã‚Œ, nadare a polite way to greet Ski Patrol = クタãƒãƒ¬, kutabare "Sorry, I dropped my glove." [the classic excuse if caught skiing under a chairlift] = "御å…ãªã•ã„ã€ã¡ã‚‡ã£ã¨é…”払ã„ã¦ã„ã¾ã™.", "Gomen nasai, chotto yopparaite imasu." But how would I say "Hey dude, let's tear up some gnarly POW!" in Japanese?
Yuki's Passion 1
There was actually a great thread made a few years ago, but I cant find it anymore. We had gone through and created pages of vocab words all ski related. Try doing a search. I believe Dizzy started the thread...it might have been Kumapix but Im sure it was Dizzy. >a polite way to greet Ski Patrol = クタãƒãƒ¬, kutabare thats quite polite
