sbeatton 0
Anyone give any advice regarding dinenr in Nozawa Onsen. Place I'm looking to stay offers breakfast only or breakfast and dinner option. Probably keener to go out and look around each evening but read somewhere there weren't that many options. thanks
keba 0
There wasn't, when we were there a few years ago, but we had full board (which was very good, at "Maruken Sanso") and didn't look very hard. The bar scene was a bit light on, too. "Karaoke and Shot Bar Heaven" in the upper part of town was our regular. Is that sort of name-dropping allowed here? Sorry if it isn't... miller 1
Not many - a fair few small izakayas and ramen. Good thing about Nozawa is it is small and compact and you can easy walk round and find whats there.
BagOfCrisps 24
Yes it's all a nice compact village. We enjoyed walking round and finding some of the places. Pop your head in and look round!
JA2340 16
Will be there January (on snow 14th Jan 09) and eager to try some of the smaller local restaurants. How many days is that??? 81 days to go! Hope the dollar does some serious improvement in the interim!
