mattlucas 0
I only have one pair and their not about to be burnt. But I have seen some old ones in garages around town. May have to do the old grab and burn.
Fattwins 0
If the snow is good in Gifu around the 7th or 8th dec do you want to head up to Takasu for a short day tour?
mattlucas 0
Thanks for the invite but have not completed my b/c setup. Only have my skins and a shovel. If I am lucky I will be getting a beacon for Christmas but that is still a bit away. Maybe in the new year. I have to get skiing soon though. I am going crazy. And where is Takasu. Sounds familier. Fattwins 0
I got an extra beacon and some other stuff. Not a hard core tour just a light tour 500 vert of sking then trekking up to do it again. But this depends on snow and there aint no snow.
mattlucas 0
Last night I went and looked at the Yahoo Auction. I really liked the Scratch's. I am hoping to maybe inquire about them this weekend. New scratch's would be great. They are really nice skis. As for the tour I want to wait until I get either new skis or figure out if I am going to stay with my 1080's. My skins are cut for my old 198 vipers and if I am going to cut them way down I want to be sure I don't screw myself over by making them fit only one pair of skis. If I get the 182 Scratch's I should be able to cut the skins to be able to fit both pairs. So you see my problem. And snow is also a problem as well.
Fattwins 0
zannen deshita Im tring to get the new G3 skins but nobody will ship them here and half the places are sold out. My buddy found those scratches in nagoya for 58000 yen
mattlucas 0
Yah they are 52,000 on the Yahoo Auction. Not a bad price. They sell the new G3 skins at my outdoor store in town. Kong. I think they are 16,000 or something.
OUfreeski2 0
Wheres` the link to the Scratch BCs man?
mattlucas 0
If I tell you. I'll have to kill you. Those are mine. But its there if you look back like a dozen posts. I am having trouble getting a knowledgeable person to help me buy them. I really want them. Are there more than one pair.
mattlucas 0
You could always buy them for me. I would be really happy with that. Of course I would pay you back. And a bit more of you fealt so inclined. And I would also buy you a beer or three if we ever get to ski together.
OUfreeski2 0
Depends what size you are. In the shop I saw the 182 and 188s.
Fattwins 0
I forgot about the 182s ilivetoski those sound more to your liking.
Fattwins 0
Those skis are sold now so its time to give up on that deal. OU lets play name those stores
OUfreeski2 0
Yeah I will after I purchase the 182 Scratches.
mattlucas 0
How much are the 188's If they are not to much I may have to get them. The best deal I have been able to find so far is for the Pocket Rockets at 52,000. They are a good ski but I like the Scratchs more.
Fattwins 0
You better look hard cause the guy at the local ski shop said there are not many left in Japan. Also Japan doesnt order many. Get someone you know to pull out the yellow pages and start finding the stores in Nagoya. The pocket rockets are a pretty good deal.
mattlucas 0
My ski store guy called the Rossignol rep for me and he said that they are really short in Japan for the Scratchs. Kind of sucks. But I have a couple options now. 185 Pocket Rockets - 52,000 180 Volkl V Pro - 55,000 183 Volkl Gotama - 65,000 So I will probably end up with the Pocket Rockets as the other good deal is for the V-Pro and they arn't actually that fat. But I like having options.
OUfreeski2 0
I can get those V-Pros for cheaper.
mattlucas 0
Really. I'm not sure about them though. Not really a Fat Ski. Kind of a midfat and at 180 maybe a bit short for a midfat.
Fattwins 0
buy the rockets befroe they go too. last year 185s were all gone come end of nov
mattlucas 0
I will on Wednesday. Just have to wait for a quote from another ski store. So exited. New skis coming soon. Can't wait.
mattlucas 0
Now you have me really worried so after work I am going to order them. If I can't get them though I will prob just get my Fat skis shipped from Canada.
Fattwins 0
52000 is not a bad deal. Find a good deal on bindings and your set. The best North American new price is in yen 65,325.53 before tax. Find good binders with wide brakes, extra brakes are 4000 yen
mattlucas 0
Good deal. I actually have a spare pair from my predocessor but they are for normal skis. I know back home that sometimes ski techs can bend the brakes. Actually I have seen it done. That is what I am hoping to do. Wonder if they do that here. Hopefully as I don't shell out for bindings as well but if I have to well then I guess I have to.
Fattwins 0
What binding do you have?
