bobby12 0
Does anyone use citibank and what has been your experiences? Do they offer decent interest rate? Is it economical to use them if you travel a lot or need to transfer money between 2/3 countries occassionally?
thursday 1
I used to use them. They suck. It's the same all over the world. note: statements made are personal opionions which may or may not be useful to you in anyway.
bobby12 0
I checked their interest rates and its better than GoLloyds. Like 1% better and they charge no fee either. So for transferring money it *seems* much better. I'm thinking to transfer yen to the UK, then put it into a citibank online account which offers about 6% interest. Seems like a plan but they have so many accounts and terms, quite confusing. What sucked about them? Cant be much worse than a japanese bank...
indosnm 0
Bobby.. i found out the hard way that when I took cash out in Australia from an ATM the changed the money from yen to USD then into AUD so I was losing a stack! They suck!
