tripitaka 0
Is it as over-rated as New Years? I don't know but it is an excuse to get trashed. Hope to attend at least two of the four days of chaos and fun at Murphys in Osaka. Anyone else have plans?
Tubby Beaver 209
I'm actually off on the day (17th Right?) but I'm working the next so i won't be doing anything. It's a day that has no meaning to me and I have never actually went out of my way to celebrate it (unlike New Years). Probably just as over rated as NY Eve but like you said, a good excuse to get hammered!!
thursday 1
Years ago I had an Irish girlfriend. Paddys day was the day that we'd let it go and get smashed with all the other Irish in a suburban London pub. I used to say, but isn't that what we do all the time? But the answer was always: "yeah, but we do it with green beer tonight"
farquah 0
I am actually in NYC for it this year (first time to the U S of A too!), so am quite looking forward to catching the parade there if I have chance. SHould think a glass or two of the black will be sunk also! Anyone ever been to the New York Paddy`s parade?

Tubby Beaver 209
don't they do that to the river in Chicago or something? Must be very environmentally friendly for the water and its various inhabitants
