Not really walking distance...about 10mins but all uphill. there of course is a shuttle bus to all the resorts. The owner is a really nice chap. Today there was a distraught foreign lady at the base of Happo who realised she had taken the wrong bus and should have been at 47, well the owner of hifumi went out of his way to take this lady over to 47 and help find her friends.
