awashi 0
Well the subject kind of says it, I'm here (Japan) on a pre-college visa, and apparently am allowed to work 4 hours per day. Other than college students as far as I know I'm not allowed to work 8 hours a day during holidays. But does Immigration care if I do anyway? What do you think? And what would happen if they cared... Thanks, /awashi
tsondaboy 0
Whats a pre-college visa, are you an undergraduate student or researcher?
Yuki's Passion 1
just make sure you're working w/in the allowed hours, if it is over, and they find out, you could be in trouble. A few years back, I didnt inform them of my change in status/employer....and it caused problems at immigration. I had to write a letter in Japanese explaining the entire situation and apologize, my employer, who knew somebody there, also had to come on my behalf, so I wouldnt get (possibly) kicked out of the country. Thats what she said to me at least.
