grungy-gonads 54
For some reason I find myself having a celeb karaoke contest on in the background while I am doing some interchube crawling. It caught my interest as it is just unbearably bad - all these celebs doing karaoke and singing terribly, getting scores and the like. I must turn if off to protect my ears but the banality and naffness of it all is.... well no words for it. I can't really work out if it supposed to be comedy and rubbish or not - some of them look as if they are taking it very seriously. If you are in front of your tv now check it out. Hosted by the 2 London Hearts dudes. (Why are they called that?)
bushpig 0
I hear ya GG I find myself watching things on tv here that make me cringe as I watch. Something about it just won't let you turn away...

scouser 4
Very. They must be popular I suppose. I find quite a few people seem to just have the tv on in the background here without really watching it.
Tubby Beaver 209
does anyone know how TV companies can tell who is watching their programme?? I've never figured out how they calculate viewing figures
Melissa-in-Kanagawa 0
Don't some people have machines in their tv (agree to it of course), take that as a sample and go on that? Sounds like it is probably wildly inaccurate.
Tubby Beaver 209
Dunno, one method I heard, prob in the old days, was that TV companies would randomly call people and ask them what they are watching, again wildly inaccurate as people change the channel, tell lies etc etc.
