(And where you are going for Christmas) I am in Kanazawa city, Ishikawa prefectureboardered by Toyama and Fukui. It is about a 3 hour drive from Joetsu interchange on the expressway and so that's only 3 hours to Arai Mountain park! We have ok snowboarding in Ishikawa, good for just popping to the mountain on a day off (like tomorrow) but when I have longer I prefer to head to Toyama where there is often good powder, Nagano or Niigata! On Christmas Day my mates and I are donning santa hats and heading for Raicho Valley Toyama, look for the red hats! Link to post Share on other sites
