nzlegend 1
Last night was one of those rare occasions where I sat down to watch NHK News 10 to see what damage Typhoon Mawar caused. (little evidently) Well the soporific, appallingly boring, drawn out and tedious coverage was unreal! they could have summed it up in 5 mins and got on with the rest of the news but oh no, they dragged it out for over 20mins plus. I read my magazine while in dragged on "This Tokyo office worker was heading home early as he thought with the approaching typoon he should go home a little earlier, though he wanted to stay out longer and enjoy his dining experience more...." really wow! thanks for that amazing insight! Even the occasional shot of loser + umbrella wasnt that amusing. Also it seems the sole death from the typhoon was another Darwin award candidate - the middle aged to elderly Japanese male who gets on his roof in the middle of typhoon to repair it -idiot. Every typhoon one of these stupid gungho idiots makes a fatal ascent of his ladder. ah got that off my chest, feel better now
indosnm 0
You summed it up. What I do like is seeing the reporters in their rain coats with hoods standing out in the drenching rains and winds to give you an update... classic!
woywoy 0
Indo ... they were interviewing some surfers at Chiba and saying "Abunakunai desuuuu kkaaaa???". And they were like "Sonna koto nai yo! Tanoshikatta yo!" Was very funny.
