IIIII 2
Anyone have experience getting your vinyl records onto your computer (and eventually onto ipod etc)? I've been looking online and getting confused by it all. So any first hand tips would be helpful if anyone has any and your setup. Cheers.
Thunderpants 0
I have done a bit of converting from vinyt to mp3. in the beginning i used audiograbber (freeware) http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/ it can cut the tracks automatically, but tracks that fade out are a problem, i also had problems with records with very quiet parts. The software suddenly decided to cut a track in half. I didn't try any other programs than audiograbber for automatic cutting, instead i now use Adobe Audition. i record the whole side into one file, and then i edit the tracks out manually, or at least i used to. It is a lot of work, so i mostly just make 2 files pr LP
