  2. no i didnt ask that. I know that the jetstar rate is cheaper if you ring beforehand. I think that qantas and jetstar would be about the same. imho.. i think i will just go with the jetstar and ring my extra baggage through beforehand..
  3. lol. i never thought of it in that way, it did not come in a brown paper bag. maybe i should ?? It is about the comedian andy kaufman and i really recommend it, it is very funny and truly weird..
  4. i saw Son of Mask on TV the other night. It was reasonably entertaining. I was pleasantly surprised. Man on the Moon starring Jim Carey is a top shelf movie.
  5. Newcastle, UK is full of bushpigs it seems. the newcastle i live in is also full of bushpigs.
  6. I had a mate who used to play led zep all the time so it drove me mad. Plus he was a drummer which made it excrutiating. I like the fact that they are having a lottery for the tickets. but meh, i dont care..
  7. I am thinking about taking both skis and snowboard to japan. I just rang jetstar and they said that it was ok to have both. If they are over 20kg I will just have to pay the extra baggage charges. (about $12-15 per kg) i also rang qantas and they said that you could take a bag and one set of skis/snowboard at a limit of under 20kg. Any additional skibag will be charged extra baggage. 9. I went on a ski trip with my mates to the ski rider at perisher on a bus. Then i used to go on weekends in the kombi and stay at guthega. After that it has been downhill ever since. (get it, that was a skiing joke. muahahah)
  10. Here is a very good map of the trains and subways for osaka. It has helped me suss out how to get around. Hope it helps.. http://www.johomaps.com/as/japan/osaka/osakametro.html --
  11. How about bindings/straps like on a kiteboard? Or a tow-in Surfboard?
  12. i had a look at the widgets but did not see anything that would interest me atm.. if you need a tester just give us a yell.. a widget for japanese snow resort webcams is the only thing i can think of that might be useful for me.. or australian ones maybe. i used the webcams a lot the preceding season for oz snow resorts.. Personally i like to keep things really simple and my desktop uncluttered as much as possible, but that is just me..
  13. imho riding a bike up hills up off the seat is the best for skiing/boarding getting fit... and for boarders i think some sort of ab workout would be helpful because boarding seems to work on your stomach muscles for some strange reason..
