  1. Landrover Disco's aren't reknown as speed machines Indo.
  2. Aaah guess who owns a goldmine/oil rig . Still looks like its goin the right way.(for inbound aussie bears to Japan anyway)
  3. Its all about balance.Found that 80%surfing/boarding and 20% work is just about right.(my boss strangely disagrees) Who designed the 5day work-2day weekend anyway?
  4. Was it Otaru ,remember it also and it was offered as a package and was expensive(relatively speaking). Have found very little on Iwanai and next to nothing that is up to date.Perhaps armed with a name,a taste for something different and a fistful of yen I will just take pot luck when i get to Niseko.Have found some fruitful discoveries in the past with this attitude, both surfing and boarding.
  5. How bout the can near Buckinghuge Palace with the big lady sitting 3 feet away listening to you play a tune in the trough. Then puts out her hand, was never quite sure what to put in it,Was the tip big enough,(sorry couldn't resist).
  6. Is the yen likely to trail the $us. Excuse my ignorance but is it a stronger aussie, weaker $us or a combo of both? Either way i guess its not a life ending decision but I do find it interesting.(always a nice feeling to think that it was a bargain days skiing). Media is talking up an interest rate rise again. To me this generally is the softening up leak of info and it is as if the media has been worded up.(who'd have thought). Just might hang a bit longer and might sneak a few more yen for my hard earned moola.
  7. Thanks Creek Boy love the onsens ,kicking back after a big day rox. Could end up in sapporo at the end of the trip. Still getting my head round all the options on the site.Very little that i can find in the resort spotlights.Would a search of some older threads find better results.
  8. Nice move ASB.Still hadn't locked in my trip at that stage but was tempted to buy anyway. Some finacial guru was talkin it up over $0.90 before Christmas but I,m not sure how that will go with the yen.Fairly well I hope.
  9. I cant believe that you tried to catch one. Then what?put it on a sandwich? You wave a flag or rag at them, you dont have to chase them.Being very inquisitve they come to have a look at what it is and then you could just grab it.If your really hungry i guess you could munch on an oversize drumstick.Me,never been that hungry.
  10. I divorced my cranky bird not that long ago.I'd rather take on a flock of puny maggies or plovers any day. Ever flagged an emu,now thats a different story!!
  11. With the current climb of the $A against the $US and the yen is the near future a good time to be lining the pockets with yen for the Feb jaunt to Japan?
  12. Hey spook it would be a good way to show off his Brazilian .
  13. GN.would be interested to find out some more from your mate.I,m all ears - cheers
  14. Like the look and sound of Iwanai, thats the sort of place I,m after. Not expecting to find an undiscovered Niseko, the path is too well trodden in this region.Just looking for an alternate that a group of mates can have some fun.Even Chisenpurri will probably be a good day out.(day spent on the snow always is).Hey i live in Aussie where i can have fun in a bowl of porridge with a lump in it.Any further comments definitely appreciated.
