Ezorisu, good decription but this one only held in Sapporo, every year, no tour. X-trail Jam was just held in Tokyo but they are the only two major big air comps in Japan.

Toyota Big Air - freezin, but a bit of whiskey keeps you warm, top international pro riders, top Japanese riders, live bands, huuge jump in open stadium, live acts...a good time definitely and the after party is one not to be missed. this year on Feb 14th. check out their webpage for more info.

Sounkyo Kurodake - yup, blizzard 250cm base already

Summer Beer Garden, Susu and kino, Toyota Big Air, Daimaru Buffet, Snow festival (altho only need to see once - one in Asahikawa is good too), close to Niseko but also Furano and the Big Snowy Mountains, Teine Highland, .... could keep going...

not hatin, just giving opinion, really tho to compare Rusutsu to Kiroro is not even close during powpow season, unless you hike Yoichi dake, would prob hit Kiroro in April when there is no snow left in Rusutsu

Kiroro is lame, unless you like Japanese couple land...you have to be joking to say it is better for the intermediate skiier...

As the Coach, I think its time to move on. I wonder if some of those guys - norcalnate, rooster, stain, are around and also, where is toque these days? Some nice snow up here today, light and fluffy, hopefully global warming stays away.

Just wondering if someone knew where the terrain park at Higashiyama will be - at the bottom, hopefully above the flat traverse? Trying to get it back on topic for you Mr. SJ moderator...
