it was taken a day or two after the avalanche. (raicho is the slope with the slide on the left.) looks like there was another slide on the next slope over, but no reports of any injuries on that one

yakushima was sweet! 3 days of sunshine and hiking in the great outdoors. ianbc, no mt. biking on yakushima except if you wanna ride concrete around the island with all the motorcyclists!

start off on empty beginner slopes and think about your technique. then do the same on intermediate, then advanced slopes. keep skiing w/ people better than u
