  1. Does anyone know of any surface lifts on any Japanese resorts. I have never seen one however I am still a long long way from going to all of the resorts here.

  4. Aussie resorts are getting absolutely puked on at the moment with even more to come over the next couple of days. Better late than never I say. Sets the resorts up for a good spring now.

"manage to make every single post you make" "I did say Almost every post." hmmmmm Might be best to read what you wrote before quoting yourself

It's quite incredible how you seem to manage to make every single post you make sound like it's copy/pased from marketing promotion literature. If you read down a little from the top I am not too sure what marketing literature avail

  9. The Hakuba International FIS Summer Ski Jump is on next Saturday night. Last year was a fantastic event. Bring your own everything and come and join us. We will be the rowdy contingent slap bang in the middle of the stand. If you want tickets PM me.
  10. As BM said also. Go the long trip with onsens. You'll probably find a way to do a couple of small ones too anyway. I'm on one really really long Holiday.
  11. Great work again with the video Stag. Thanks for sharing. You got me hanging for winter even more now.
  12. Why don't you try the people who are best suited to fix the problem? Physiotherapist.

  16. Welcome JP. I would head to one of the resorts to start with then maybe a day or 2 in Tokyo in between then the other resort leaving you a few days at the end to play with and recover. NYE although I haven't done it myself in Tokyo is by all accounts pretty big especially around Shibuya. Both resorts should have plenty of snow by that time so toss a coin and hope you score at both.
  17. Kids of any ages are pretty well looked after in Hakuba. Youngens can go to creche, ski age can be put into all day lessons, teens can sleep in and be dropped off at the park to meet up with the parents later. That seems to look after most categories. Occasionally you get the family that want to ski from first lifts to last all together. Sjd mentioned about least amount of travelling so I would say Honshu with a taxi straight out to Hakuba is pretty good.
  18. Hakuba Hakuba Hakuba. Covers all bases you listed. What more can I say < fire> Actually all is good with your requirements. Good times. Feel free to ask more questons. Cheers
  19. Yep, thats another trip in its self. If you want to go further North the same principle applies- just wait until the snow falls and choose you destination. We will be around to assist.
  20. Just wait until you are here. You will be able to book in anywhere during that time. No use in planning something now. If you had to plan I would go for Karuizawa because of their snowmaking capabilities.
  21. Good to see they have a bit more snow. I am guessing enough to top up what the snowmakers have laid down. My mate is going up next week and told me he didn't even want to take his rockhopper for fear of too much damage.
