I would try Sports Takahashi as some others have recommended....but I bought mine at Himaraya...just down the road near Armani on midosuji...They are great there and some might even speak english...

Hi Everyone...I have organized a kick ass snowboarding/ski trip from Osaka up to Niseko for over new years, unfortunately, one of our members maybe dropping out. We'll be leaving the evening of the 27th at 5pm from Osaka (by bus) for Maizuru, and from there to Otaru (by ferry) then to Niseko (by train). We arrive to our pension at 8:15am on the 29th and hit the hills before lunch for sure! Then we ski the night of the 29th, all day and night the 30th, all day and night the 31st (including new years activities (last year it was a torch run))All day and night the 1st... On the 2nd

I've done the ferry thing twice and it was great both times...a little smoky but comfortable enough...go with the upgrade to get a bed..its only 24 or 25oo more...well worth it for two nights sleeping...connections in Otaru are spot on and you will be skiing by noon on the day you arrive! Might give it another go this xmas...we were up there for 12 days last year!

Thanks guys...just got back from JTB where they have especially dumb staff! Have heard about the highway buses and night trains, but last spring got a two day lift, hotel, bus package for around 17ooo yen! Could only ski the top of the mountain, but it was Tshirt weather all the way! Keep an eye out for anything...Later,

Hi...Went up to Tsugaike for spring skiing last year with a super cheap package..now I can't even find a tour company that has buses running! Anyone got any info? Thanks!

Want to get a ski bus up to Nagano for Golden Week...did it last year for some spring skiing...now the stupid travel agent says there are no buses....I think he's misinformed...Anyone else with info?

Hi Guys...Last season we did the heli-ski thing in Iwatake or Tsugaike...Anyone know of any other resorts that offer this sort of adventure? Thanks.
