Today was the first day I tried telemark skiing. Had an awesome time! Took a class taught by a few Japanese folks. I really suprised myself today by only taking a few sliders on the snow. Has anyone else tried telemark skiing? Let me know if you liked it or thought it just totally sucked! Ski-On, Dave

You should be able to do flips with those tiny skis pluck! You say you can throw those skis around with the greatest of ease haha. I think I'm just going to give up downhill and go to telemark maybe this coming weekend.:-)

I'll have to say ice sucks!! I rolled over my truck 2yrs ago on black ice. It's the worst shit ever.

Just buy a pair of free ride skis. That should help out your technique. I bought a pair of Head I.M 75 Monsters this year and it's like night and day. Ski-On!

I've heard Taos has some good pow pow. Where every you go you will find some pretty good powder! Lots of times it's how you ride it that makes it that more memorable! So far the best powder i've been in is Hakkoda and it's still early in the ski year! Last Friday was an awesome day! Very good visiblity and awesome fluff. I can't wait for more

Optional....i think plucky should wear a hockey helmet with a full face mask. He thinks he the Gordie How of Skiing!! It would be perfect on the mountain.

What's up fellow skier!? I was on the same boat you were in about a helmet and finally bought one. I bought a UVEX helmet a few weeks ago for around $45. I really don't know all of the brands, but I know UVEX as been around for a while so it's gotta pretty good. Very happy with mine....whatever kind of helmet you get it will be a good investment.
