  1. After a great start I'm starting to become really unimpressed with Niseko and this drought currently being experienced. I'll be making the massive journey in close to 6 weeks and if it doesn't improve I'll have the shytes. Would be typical for me though.....
  2. yeah, still looks better than perisher .... even with the rain ha ha ha ha
  3. looks like some serious rain.... not good! How much damage has the rain done? Quote: Not a lot of good news today. Its been raining all night and still raining now steadily. Its too warm. The typhoon has headed north and is now due east of Tokyo - oh to be in Chiba right now! Can someone send us a surf report? Two lows have developed over Japan bringing warm southerlies. There is a lot of cloud over northern Japan and we can only hope for colder weather on Thursday. There is plenty of snow around still so some fun will be had when the rain stops. It will be snowing wet snow up high

I knew a few blokes who instructed yet couldn't even get their own boots on
  5. nah, she's sure about that one..... heres a tip that i learned while instructing in america... one day when your not expecting it, get drew to push you from behind and then work out which foot you put forward (fall onto) to steady yourself.... in most cases that foot will also be your front foot while riding... but, you gotta make sure your not expecting it, and you also gotta make sure you don't turn around and slap him in the face for pushing you he he he he cause he wont be happy bout that....
  6. sam, you sound like my girlfriend he he he !!! maybe me and drew can go ride pow and you two can stick to the groomers (jokes)
  7. drew, it'll be better than you can ever imagine. Get ready to learn how to snowboard all over again
  8. Drew, one of my travel companions works for japan airlines (and is a friend of snowave) so making comparisons price wise wouldn't be fair. Sorry. I was just interested to see what sort of discount we were receiving!!! I think the price you are paying is not that bad... I have heard of others paying as much as $4000 for something similar to what you are doing. It is going to be so so so sweet, I can't wait to get over there. Have you been O/S snowboarding before?
  9. sam, drew, just for interest sake what are you paying for all of that? Its ok if you don't want to disclose. Cheers,
  10. I would never ever ever even consider riding with a boot (snowboard) which did not have a stiff supportive inner.
  11. how can we lover her without a photo...

  13. Are you serious that the snow is melting? It looks really really really snowy today (Wednesday 6 Nov)
