We seem to be playing decent at times but simply can't get the result. United are kind of the other way round, playing awful and getting the results.

My turn to post the footie for the weekend Saturday 11pm Chelsea vs Stoke Saturday (Sunday morning) 1:30am Southampton vs Aston Villa Sunday 9:30pm Liverpool vs Man Utd Sunday 12 midnight Spurs vs QPR Sunday 12 midnight Man City vs Arsenal Wonder if the few United fans will behave.

I'm sure you'll do what you think is right for you. I know in my case I would be on the way back, even though it's about 21 hours door to door for me, so a fair trek. And not cheap either of course. I also know what you mean about not wanting to think about it. Up until now I have not had to go back at short notice for any reason, thankfully. Not always going to be that way though I would think.

Early on a Saturday on the Joetsu can be pretty awful. I've been on it at other times when it has been almost empty and then when it has been crowded and difficult to get a seat. Difficult to read.
