there is a direct bus from Hakuba to Shiga Kogen it leaves 7:30 in the morning and arrives at Shiga Kogen at 9:30. and the same times the other way. There is no return on the same day so you would have to stay one night in Shiga.

Back when i first came to Japan and had to get a Japanese license, I didn't have an exit stamp in my passport for a certain country. Because of this -they were not going to issue me with a license until I proved to them that I hadn't got my license in that country and left almost immediately. It took a few heated words and a quiet phone call for them to change their mind. What was worse was that I had passed my test 15 years earlier...

Hey Chriselle they must be the same boots as mine. I couldn't find the flex written on them though. My wife has a pair of the Salomon XR CT JP - she says that they are very good. Actually all my family are wearing Salomon boots this year for the first time. Definitely a thumbs up!

After slacking off a bit last year with injuries to myself and my son, I plan to ski for 100days. Sometimes only for an hour or so, sometimes all day, but the goal is 100. Looking forward to also visiting other places in Nagano and a trip over to Yuzawa.

I have Salomon Falcon XR CS JP I think the flex is about 110. They are much more comfortable from the Lange WC 130 I was using previously.
