  1. Ya, maybe don't need to be that norvous? Not sure. Just like the difference between ' perhaps' and 'maybe'
  2. Yeah we do. Not that hard work but petbottles. We need to get rid of a ring at the neck of a petbottle, do the seal and a lid apart from the petbottle itself. Lids and seals are okay no prob. But the rings are not so easy to take off. Need a cutter.
  3. sakebomb, both? - you mean Japan times shows the number or? viv&kev, probably convenient especially for tourists!
  4. viv&kev, I don't think many do. If I remember right, that was about 5 years ago when 'Nihongo'.com got available but has not widespreaded yet. And a Kanji and a Hiragana are 2 byte characters, an English alphabet is usually 1 byte character. So when we type Kanji, Hiragana and English alphabet together with in a line, we need to switch the mode for it - Zenkaku( for 2 byte letters )/hankaku (for 1 byte letters) key. I am not sure English computers have it or not, guess probably no. When we need to switch the key each and every time on typing some, it's really annoying Perha
  5. Yeah, Ug but I am not a kindergartener any more, so I can judge if I can say that kind of thing when other people are around or not The most important thing for me at this moment is how to get used to English humor, so it might also work. What do you think?
  6. Who me? Busy to remove snow, replying inquiries, maintain everything, thinking about something attract people, thinking about how to care for guests, studying computer stuff, English, cooking, go shopping etc. I have to do everything which keeps me really busy all the time.
  7. Yeah, it seems that Hakuba Sanosaka provides Men's day - 1 day ski passes would be discounted. Just called them to check if the ski pass works for entire San-Alpina ski slopes or just for Sanosaka - the answer is the former, it works for entire San Alpina, yay! Shame, haven't tried it yet living this close! It's wednesday today though, no time Maybe good idea to have Men's day, Ladies'day in my business together with their service
  8. Tokyo is interesting to visit sometimes but would like to avoid living there. Lots of faces come in my view on walking streets, noise, pollution etc..... Small villages in Indo - sounds peaceful though, Indosnm?
  9. I agree, that super bright white beam sucks!! Too strong to my eyes, can't see anything when it comes into my view.

  13. When something is a MUST, I find there are some way to express it in English as the subject line says, but which is the most natural? I usually use 'required' for it though. Does this depend on who says that and where the person is from? or depends on the situation? - formal or casual.
  14. I donno, goofy. I don't use hazard lights for it. If I remember right, I learned hazard lights are for accidents to give some warning to following cars behind you.
  15. Hum..... so, a noisy city life sucks, everyone?
  16. A pair of 5 fingers socks and woolen socks. Additional, a pair of 'Hokkairo ' to warm my legs up!
  17. Your cheese? dunno what you mean. Maybe it's a slang? - then absolutely i dunno
  18. I think they just get rid of the process to flash indicators before using hazzard lights. Your point is if someone wants to slow down and stop at a left side of a road, that someone should use the left indicator first then slow down then hazard lights, correct?
  19. Welcome! Ohhh typo! chEErs Farquah must have drunk too much, we may have to arrest him/her!
