  1. skied takinokoyama today, south of minami furano. we ascended 1980m and 14km in distance. a personal record for me, a huge day. it was bluebird sunny and excellent powder, the best bc day so far.

(i will definitely be coming back here with my free pass from sj and do a report) another bc day tomorrow, undecided where. more vids and pics to come when i have more time
  3. im generally 3rd behind 2 road bike racers who think is a ski mountaineering race lol. ocean is pretty choppy today, ferry might be cancelled and we might have to just do another day of skiing here instead
  4. ascended 1500m today in heavy powder but had lots of great skiing. pretty worked. luckily tomorrow is a travel day.
  5. Its been very difficult to take good pics on Rishiri due to the brutal weather. Its snowing heavily today, so we will be limited again on what we can do. We are catching the ferry back tomorrow and off to asahidake

  7. My poles have had it. Can anyone suggest a good place on Hokkaido, Sapporo, Asahikawa or whereever really (online too) I can purchase some for a reasonable price?
  8. it was about a 4 hour round trip, the difficult part was breaking trail in 30cm deep powder which ive never done before. a few mount rishiri videos coming soon. we have had some brutal weather, windy, white, cold, tiny bit of sun. but the skiing has been incredible.
  9. bit of a solo mission today. summited mount pon, snow was great, about 20cm or so. the weather is going to be pretty brutal the next few days so theres no chance of summiting rishiri, the plan is to play around at 800metres on the north face
