  1. I've been to India a number of times and really enjoyed the amazing amount of curries you can get there, but to be honest the best curries are outside of India. Why, I think it's because the base ingredents are of better quality. The best curries (other than the chiken Tikka I mentioned earlier) in my opinion are to be found in London. Better meat, chicken, with the same spices.
  2. I have the article from Stephen McDonald saved in my favorites, going to print it out and take it with me next ski trip. Boots make or break a day, best to put them on correctly.
  3. I did a lot of research last year before I brought my first pair of ski boots. All of which was wasted as I ended up getting the only pair in my size that I could find. Big feet can be a pain in Japan, had to find normal shoes here, let alone ski boots. But one person I found on the net seemed to make a lot of sense, a Stephen A. McDonald. A quick google of his name will bring up a number of articles he has written about ski boots. One piece of advice he gave that I followed was to get a good pair of ski soxs. Re boot fitters. I got my boots fitted by a guy in tokyo who spends the off sea
  4. I always go for chicken tikka if it's on the menu. Had my first one in Japuir and been searching for one as good ever since.
  5. I wondered where my Mum got the horrible colored wool for the jerseys she knits
  6. Mt granview is like the sports cars of our dreams, we all talk about them but not many get to ride in one
  7. Sorry famous wasn't a hint, I was just commenting on how popular Tsugaike was with followers of this thread. So no to Mt Granview
  8. The mascot is a squirrel! That would explain why I spent three hours looking for a ski field that had a chipmunk as a mascot.
