  1. Cheers for the info guys. I'm there for a month, so I'm planning to attempt to hit most of the hills in that area, even if it's just for a day. I've heard they're quite a bit stricter about off-piste/side country access than Niseko is, is there much weight to that?
  2. Hey dude. Fantastic pics! Is that peak accessible? I'll be at Happo in a few days from Niseko. Staying at a lodge at the bottom of one of the Sakko lifts I believe. Any areas you recommend? Looking for more or a free ride feel to it. Open faces or tree lines, maybe some drops. Cheers!
  3. Pete, from what I've seen it's kinda hard to get a gate report before getting to the hill if your up early. I've found the best way is to jump that 1st bus to Hanozono and ask the guys at the 1st lift while you're waiting for them to let you on, they'll call Avi control or the higher lifts and ask there. Avi report is released at 0930 I've heard so they wait until that before any gates open generally. If there's no winds, generally they start the 3rd lift at about 0845ish then if you're feeling dodgy you can take a hard left out of the lift, under the rope, across the lift line
