Here in Japan the radiation fear has abated, so I have a feeling that all this 'gambaro Tohoku' will result in more activity on the slopes up north this year (by Japanese skiers and boarders at least). Fukushima may be the exception, but Miyagi and Iwate prefectures should be the recipients of some goodwill ski trips this year, no?

Almost makes me want to stay on piste this season...almost.
