  8. To: Go Native, Sure Thanks..!! Any contacts..!? I am a medium ability snowboarder. Not the one that can do big air & 360, 720 & half pipe guy.
  9. to: Thursday, I'd pass on this tip.!! Anyone will be in Niseko during my stay..!? 21st - 28th Feb.!? I'd love to join for a day or two. I never try to go out to the back country fresh track.!!
  10. To: Thursday, Yeah, I'd booked for the guys already. That's always been the problem when I am the only person who know how to snowboard. I am always alone on the hill with my ipod. Try to pick up some Japanese chicks on the way up & never success..... any tips on that..!?
  11. To: Go Native, Not sure about powder days. Last year there was not much in mid Feb during my stay. According to my memory, it was blue bird almost everyday for a week. To: Thursday, I know we will be short. 6-7pm is my estimte time of arrival at the Vale. I will not be planning to get a ticket for the first night. Just a walk up the "family hill" a little bit & let the guys go wild. After all this is what a ski in/out is about right.!?
  12. Did you know that, I've to teach my buddies with the best of my ability to snowboard for the first night as well. Then on the next day, I'll be free all to myself to discover more on the mountain. So if you see a guy teaching 4 guys how to snowboard in the middle of the night, that will be me.!! Funny
  13. To: Go Native, How did you know I've a 6 day pass..?? I usually buy a day pass that night & return it the next morning. But thanks for the tip, you've been a great help..!!
  14. To: Go Native, Stopping is not an option. We arrive at the New Chitose Airport around 15:10 (without flight delay) pick up the car & my buddies want to get their gear at NBS Alpen Ridge before it close, so that they can have the first night snowboarding. But sure we will stop by the Lake Shikotsu on our way back.
  15. Hi Seemore, So, what are the things I should look out for when driving to the Vale from New Chitose Airport on route 276..?? I know black ice is one of them.. Speed camera..??
  16. Hi Seemore, Is the outdoor a swimming pool @ The Vale..? How's the living quarter, it's look pretty good in the internet. Cannot wait to visit the Vale. As for the driving, it is too late. I've got everything booked & paid. I've been around in Niseko for a couple of times but always reach it by bus. Some of my buddies wanted to drive this time round, hopefully we can make it to the Vale in one piece. Our trip start on the 21st & end on the 28th. If any of you guys on the road during these days, be warn "stay away".
  17. Yep, our room have a private onsen facing the family slope. But it would be very nice to try out the local ones too. Have any of you guys already been to The Vale..??
  18. Yeah, I think "The Vale" should have plenty of info. Do the snow monkeys really onsen together with the humans.?
  19. Thanks & what do you recommend a very good place for an outdoor onsen in the close by area after a day of snowboard..?? Like the one I saw on TV with rocks & snow surrounded..??
  20. Thanks, Go Native. I should stay on to the route 276. How is the road condition be during the mid Feb..??
